*SINCERE APPRECIATION:*
Using this medium I and the entire Media/Socio team wish to congratulate all participants of the ongoing *FACE OF THE WEEK PROGRAM*, we thank all who have dedicated time, resources and energy to carryout this projects which has shown our overwhelming love for our Dear Deanery, Parishes, Missions, Chaplaincies and Outstations.
We can not thank you all enough.

*FUNDERMENTAL APOLOGY*
I equally wish to use  this special privilege to still apologies to *DIVINE MERCY MISSION AMPIA* for the error of adding them the time we did due to my inability to see their picture sent to me, on time, to forward to the media team.
I remain heart broken and sorry for this error with was never intentional.

*DECISIVE DECISION*
Following our precious decision due to the above mentioned error we have decided to extend the voting till Tuesday 6pm, to allow *DIVINE MERCY MISSION* the grace of their lost time which was totally my fault.
Am very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this decision and change in our programme schedule.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND LEADERSHIP TRANSITION OF THE CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA (CYON) OTUKPO DEANERY Otukpo Deanery started way back into the 80's when the Church was still under the Makurdi Diocese and was recognized as Otukpo Zone of the Catholic Youth Club (CYC), covering the entire Idoma region under the leadership of Bro. Mark Oche who led from (1985-1992).He acted as both the Provincial and Diocesan President of the Catholic Youth Club (CYC), (as it was then called), and took the Diocese/Province to the 1st ever National Youth Congress at Ogoja, Cross River State in (1986), where the Umbrella name: Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) was adopted. He served for eight (8) years and handed over the affairs of the Otukpo Zone of the Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) to Late. Bro. Happy feast of st. charles LWANGA TO ALL AFRICAN YOUTHS Saint Charles Lwanga and his companions (- 1885/7) Many Christians, Catholic and Protestant, were killed by the Ugandan king Mwanga. Some of them were servants in the king’s palace or even his personal attendants. Charles Lwanga and his twenty-one companions (the youngest, Kitizo, was only 13) were executed for being Christians, for rebuking the king for his debauchery and for murdering an Anglican missionary, for “praying from a book,” and for refusing to allow themselves to be ritually sodomised by the king. They died between 1885 and 1887. Most of them were burned alive in a group after being tortured.   Within a year of their deaths, the number of catechumens in the country quadrupled. St Charles Lwanga is the patron of Catholic Action and of black African youth, and the Ugandan martyrs’ feast day is a public holiday in Uganda.
