OTUKPO DEANERY SOCIAL PROPOSED PROGRAMS FOR THIS YEAR AND IN FUTURE
OTUKPO DEANERY SOCIAL PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR THIS YEAR AND IN FUTURE
We the social Directors across the deanery proposed the following programmes:
1. TOUR: That the deanery write to take tour of other deanery and that this tour be made open to all members who are interested and can pay to go for it (Voluntary) the tour shall feature the following:
i. Sight seeing
ii. Parishes visitation within the existed deanery.
iii. Exchange of ideals/interactions between us and the host deanery.
iv. Snap short/video chips of visited sight.
v. Picnic/fun section by participant’s e.g tog of war, blind folded, backing competition
vi. Entertainment/refreshment
2. DEANERY INTER-CULTURAL DAY CELEBRATION: We Proposed that the deanery organized a deanery inter-cultural day celebration which will feature the following:
i. Cultural dance competition of peculiar/specific culture
ii. Cultural wear display competition
iii. Cultural craft competition, e.g. neating of basket, plating of hair, weaving of mats, mudding of pot and painting etc.
iv. Cultural singing competition.
Examples of cultures that could be features
Akwya culture of Akpa people.
Ufia culture of the Utonkon people
Igede culture from the Igede people
The zee culture of the ezar people
A’agbokor culture of the Otukpo king rate.
Tor Taa culture of the tiv people
Angan’s culture of the nupe people
Ne-Igbo culture of the Igbo people
Fulful-de culture of the Fulani people
The Hausawa culture of the hausa people
The Ibibiyo culture of the Akwa Ibom people (Niger Delta)
Eba culture of the Yoruba people
Igala culture of the Igala people etc.
3. WE PROPOSED FOR A MINI FOOD COOKING COMPETITION IN OUR UPCOMING DEANERY CONGRESS PROGRAM. This competition will features the following:
That the individual will cook a solid food with N1000 for four month.
That the individual will be registered with the sum of N1000
That professional judges be used to quantify and judge the competition for fairness and transparence examples of judges are: Caterers, Rev. Sisters, Matrons or professional food vendors.
That the amount collected from registered will be put together and top by the deanery to buy tangible gift for the winner and runner up.

Note: The competition should be open to as many individuals as possible to bring out the uniqueness of the program.
4. CYON OTUKPO DEANERY TALENT HUNTS: This ideal is born out of our passion to bring out the unique potential in our members and create a sense of self discovery in individual member.
We hope to through this get people who will help to push the aspiration of our members who have talent but have no one to help them to their derive to become social super stars.
The programme will feature the following
Creativity in singing
Creativity in dancing
Creativity in comedy
Creativity in chorography
Creativity in art/graphics
Creativity in poetry/poem
Creativity in theater/act
i. All this can be put on display to were talented individuals can showcase their talent and be judged till we have eventual winner and the runner up which will be a warded and liked to groups who can aids him/her to attain success in such endeavor.
ii. The individual persons will be made to undergo auditioning/rehearsals in other o help them bring out the best in their self.
iii. The individual will be made to registered with a little amount which will be put together with source fund to get grand prizes for eventual winner and runner up.
5. MASTER/MISS CYON IN THE DEANERY: We hope to improve the general conduct of our contest to make it more attractive and matured.
In this light we proposed the following:
1. That the deanery has a fixed date for our contest in other to allow for consistency and all year circle for the crown winners. Examples of such date
(Third Sunday of October or third Sunday of December)
2. We proposed that sponsor be gotten to help us source for tangeable gift for eventual winners.

Payment for school fee or educational scholarship
Tangible gift items
Individual winners will be sustain eventually even after the crown or tenure.
We hope to correct and enhance our attitude towards the contest by ensuring that adequate steps be taking to guard, against protest, raging and complains by:

2. Reviling on time all criteria’s for the contest
3. By putting safety rules that must be sustain to defaulters as the case maybe.
4. We wish to create Deanery web site that could aid us fund in respect of our upcoming programmes.
